NEURODIVERSITY CONSULTING

There are a lot of myths and misconceptions about neurodivergent people as to why we can't be successful. Clearly we can, it's just a matter of getting the right support.
UP TO 20% OF THE POPULATION HAS AT LEAST ONE FORM OF NEURODIVERGENCE (ND), OFTEN MULTIPLE OVERLAPPING (SUCH AS Autism+ADHD or 'AuDHD'). Diagnosis rates continue to climb.
WHAT IS NEURODIVERSITY?

COMMON BELIEFS AROUND AUTISM:
• No Social Skills, Can't Handle Change, No EmpathyCOMMON BELIEFS AROUND ADHD:
• Forgetful, Disorganized, Always Late, UnmotivatedIN REALITY:
• NEURODIVERGENT INDIVIDUALS CAN PRODUCE UP TO 140% HIGHER OUTPUT THAN THEIR NEUROTYPICAL PEERS, AND MAKE TEAMS 30% MORE PRODUCTIVE• WHEN ACCOMMODATED, ND PEOPLE ARE MORE FOCUSED, MORE ORGANIZED, AND MORE CREATIVE, ALL CRUCIAL TO BUSINESS / CAREER SUCCESS• NEURODIVERGENT PEOPLE ALSO HAVE A RIGHT TO ACCESSIBLE SPACES AND SENSORY FRIENDLY EXPERIENCES

COACHING
Are you Neurodivergent? (or NeuroQueer)
Are you unhappy or unfulfilled in your current job, or struggling to find steady work?Does this sentence resonate with you: "I know I'm capable but I can't get the right people to notice"If you said yes to any (or all) of the above - you've come to the right place!

Hi, I'm Lacey.I'm a late diagnosed neurodivergent (Autism+ADHD) creative entrepreneur. I'm also 'multi-passionate' and if you are too then you know how that can be both a blessing and a curse.I was unhappy and unfulfilled in my 'good enough' day job. I developed severe autistic burnout and ended up in the hospital from stress.Do you ever say to yourself "I know what I am capable of and what I want to do, but no one will give me a chance"? I see you, I hear you, I FEEL you.

And the data agrees!Neurodivergent people (when properly supported) are more productive, better focused, and more creative than our Neurotypical peers. But we're too 'awkward' or 'eccentric' or 'anti-social' or we 'talk too much', so we are held back and held down.Well, I've embraced my awkward, and I can help you embrace your neurodivergent quirks to grow into the life you want so you can THRIVE.
Have you ever dreamed of stepping outside the office and proclaiming "enough is enough! I am worth more than this and I will show you all!'

Great! That's where we get started. Now, maybe you don't want to be mad - and that's TOTALLY valid!I've been through all the feels. The screaming/crying fits where you yell 'come on universe! just give me one damn win would you!'The jubilant squeaks of 'OMG I can't wait to tell everyone I know that I've just reached this amazing milestone I never thought I would reach!'Whether you're happy, mad, scared - you show up as you are - and I will run through the walls with you!You are a star just trying to shine, well let me bring my golden retriever energy and I will help you hype yourself even when it's hard.

Okay, so she talks a big game, but is she legit?I'll be fully transparent. I am not certified as a coach with any governing body, but I AM a certified inspirational speaker.I'm putting this up front because if that is a dealbreaker for you I want you to know before you reach out. But if it isn't and you feel a potential vibe match and want to explore - I would love to hear from you. Here are a couple of testimonials:

My goal is to be collaborative. In coaching certification programs you're taught to only ask questions, and not offer any concrete guidance, but the best and most helpful coaching sessions that I have received were collaborative, so that's my approach because that's what feels most natural.I'm part coach, part cheerleader, and part peer.
