ABOUT

Lacey (she/they) grew up a shy, awkward introvert but has blossomed into a versatile and dynamic creative producer, performer, and speaker.
She is a late-diagnosed 'neurosparkly' multi-passionate (aka polymath).
Lacey is also a member of the LGBTQ2IA+ community.
She originally went to school for Multimedia Design and Entertainment Administration and has the unique distinction of being an accountant turned performer. She has been building her entrepreneurial chops since 2013. Lacey has taken improv classes at Second City, as well as comedy and puppetry classes at Bad Dog Theatre.Since 2003, Lacey has been self-producing multimedia projects including music albums, podcasts, youtube, books, graphic design series, and more. Since 2020, she has been honing her skills as a performer, speaker, and event/community organizer.Lacey has a great passion for connecting with people to build community, and using creativity to teach, empower, and liberate people.

FUN FACTS

Lacey has studied a few different languages to varying degrees - Spanish, French, American Sign Language (ASL), and Japanese. She hopes to travel in the future to speak and perform around the world.While Lacey is right hand dominant, she wears her puppet on her left hand to make controlling the arm rods easier.She enjoys skating, biking, climbing, and swimming for physical activity. Lacey also enjoys board games, video games, escape rooms, and other puzzles.

Parker & Tucker: Private Investigators (2020)

Lacey's first short fiction novel was published in 2020, and chronicles two LGBTQ private investigators working to solve a crime in a small town. The book is available for purchase on Amazon.


The Curiosity Guide Series of ebooks (2014-2020)

The Curiosity Guides are a series of curated educational ebooks.Lacey is what is known as an 'autodidact' (aka 'self directed learner') and since she really enjoys sharing what she has learned, she took the time to compile as she learned to create helpful resources for others.All the curiosity guides are available for free.
